I couldnt even start to make a storage ottoman as nice as this was and it looks great too!Color was good. Decent ottoman for the price. Problem was the inside tray was scratched and scuffed, even though it was wrapped. Leads me to assume it was messed up prior to being wrapped and placed inside the ottoman. Also, the box arrived completely crushed on one corner. The foot on the ottoman was damaged and looked completely chewed up. It’s literally the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. Can’t turn it around because the opening would face away from the couch.To pay that much for the ottoman and a separate ridiculous shipping fee to have it arrive in less than perfect condition is NOT ok.Description reads blue. Picture looks blue but it is turquoiseThis very heavy and bulky item arrived damaged. I can and will fix it, but pretty shabby job on Amazon's part to shoddily assemble and then dump on me, leaving me with the dilemma of having to fix myself or haul this extremely heavy item back to UPS. Very disappointing.I was so excited to get our ottoman, but when it arrived today (fully assembled) one of the hinges to open up the lid had all 3 screws stripped and the hinge wasn’t connected to the body. We were disappointed, but decided to return it. The connections for the lid to the body also seem a little flimsy, so if we were to keep it, I’m pretty sure it would be broken shortly anyway. The frame does seem sturdy at least and from what I saw of the shelf insert inside I liked it. But I am disappointed that it arrived broken.tThat it is damagedThis ottoman was delivered in perfect condition. Both the wood and the fabric feel sturdy and look amazing. It opens and closes easily, and I love (and use) the tray often, which wasn't even something I knew I was looking for.
