Very time consuming putting this thing together. Some pegs didn't screw in straight to the point where it's almost impossible to assemble. A lot of pieces are particle board that split when you screw the screws into it or the screw strips before it ever becomes tight. I had to make my own screw holes in a few places or angle the screw. The box was 75 lbs and came in terrible condition. The packaging wasn't well thought out in my opinion. Luckily everything survived. One of the pieces had a scratch on the side but it's manageable. This thing is as made in China as it gets. If I ever get the thing together, I'm sure it won't last long. I'm stuck not being able to complete assembly until I go to the store and buy wood glue and clamps for the splits. I'm surprised, because I thought Safavieh was a little more reputable of a brand. I own a carpet and two lamps from them.
